Auto parts is a "no touch," time sensitive freight ("JIT" - just-in-time), thus Martin Transportation Systems seeks only those drivers who understand and enjoy working with and know the importance of timely pick up and freight delivery.
The equipment operated is primarily Freightliner Conventional tractors (9 and 10 speed transmissions) and 48' - 53' trailers. Martin Transportation Systems drivers must possess a valid CDL-A license with good past work and driving records.
40 cents per mile split (when running less than 3000 miles per week)
50 cents per mile split (when running between 3000 - 4500 miles per week)
60 cents per mile split (when running between 4501 - 5000 miles per week)
65 cents per mile split (when running 5000+ miles per week)
New employees become eligible for Health, Dental, and Vision insurance on the 1st day of the month after completing 60 calendar days of employment.
Blue Cross Blue Shield (80/20 for PPO providers - 60/40 for Non-PPO after deductible is met) - $500 deductible for 1 member/$1000 deductible for family.

Paid on basis on length of service to the company as follows:
First year of service: No paid holidays
After 1 year of service: 2 paid holidays (Thanksgiving & Christmas)
After 2 years of service: 4 paid holidays (add New years & July 4th)
After 3 years of service: 6 paid holidays (add Memorial & Labor Day)
After 4 years of service: 8 paid holidays (add day after Thanksgiving & Christmas Eve)
After new employees have completed 6 months of service they are eligible to enter MTS's 401K Plan. Employees can invest in any combination of 11 mutual funds, and MTS match to the employee contribution is 25%. Employees are 100% vested in the 401K Plan upon entry.
