Toledo’s Mike Schell is MTS Corporate Driver of the Month for April!

Congratulations go out to Mike Schell, who was selected as the Corporate Driver of the Month for Martin Transportation Systems.

Mike has been a driver for Toledo terminal since 1996.  His driver file is “clean”.   No CSA points.  No accidents.  No tickets.   He gets his fuel bonus every month, and assists dispatch by working as the back-up President’s Road Team driver.

Mike was selected from a list of Driver of the Month candidates provided by each terminal.   For winning Corporate Driver of the Month, Mike will receive a certificate, Driver of the Month hat, and a custom prize selected by VP of Operations Brett McGovern.

The other finalists selected as Driver of the Month for their local terminal are:

James Hough – Belvidere

Rita Humphrey – Bertrand

Stephen Johnson – Burton

Peter Berquist – Grand Prairie

Lazaro Rodriquez – Byron Center

Paul McIntyre – Indianapolis

Steven Wood – Kansas City

Eric Shortz – Lansing

Matthew Gauthier – Port Huron

Johan Driedger – Windsor

These drivers will receive a Driver of the Month certificate, and will still be eligible in the coming months to win Corporate Driver of the Month, as long as they continue to meet the criteria.   Criteria for Driver of the Month includes fuel mileage, truck operation statistics, no CSA points, no tickets, no accidents, no log issues, no injuries, no customer complaints, no SpeedGauge issues, attitude, truck upkeep, and no at-fault late loads.
